TCM was established for health more than 2,500 years ago in ancient China and has three main practices that make up the core of it’s success.

The three practices include:

1.) Herbal Medicine
Herbal medicine is healing through natural herbs, such as plant seeds, berries, roots, leaves, flowers, teas, etc. Whole herbs contain many natural ingredients that are beneficial to the body and healing, such as allergies, migraines, menopause, cancer, fatigue, eczema, and more.

Acupuncture

2.) Acupuncture
Acupuncture uses sterile needles inserted into the skin at acupuncture points as a form of medicine. It is known to unblock pathways and restore balance and flow.

3.) Massage Exercise/ Tai Chi
Tai Chi is a Chinese martial art practise that focuses on the mind and body. It deals with yin and yang and the push and pull of energy and strength of the mind. It is a form of exercise but it is all so much more than that.

Tradition Chinese medicine’s ancient origins emphasise the importance of anatomical structures and the yin and yang of it all. By focusing on spirit, body, and mind, in turn there are health benefits to digestion, aging, and breathing. TCM is still practiced today.
