Don’t ditch your friends!
Just because there is a new person in your life doesn’t mean you should ditch those you care about and were there for from the beginning. If something were to happen and this your current relationship didn’t work out, you can’t expect your friends to be waiting for you with open arms after you neglected them.

Don’t stop doing what you love!

Having a partner that has different interests than you is great and doing hobbies together is even better. However, don’t forget to take time for yourself. Your partner is interested in you, not the you pretending to like what they like. Find a balance of trying new and staying true to you.

Don’t make someone feel like the 3rd wheel

If it is just you and your boyfriend/girlfriend/partner/lover and you have a friend over or go out to dinner with a friend, try to not make your friend feel as though they are interrupting your date. Don’t be too touchy-feely or only talk to your significant other. If you invited your friend then hang with your friend. You and your partner will have plenty of alone time. Don’t be those people that everyone feels like a 3rd wheel around. It doesn’t make you look like you’re in a cool close-knit relationship, it makes you look insecure and ignorant to others feelings.

Do ENJOY your time together!

Make sure to be considerate to others but enjoy every bit of admiring someone and them admiring you back by sharing life together.
