Plan An Unforgettable Wedding

Everyone wants their wedding day to be perfect and to have an unforgettable experience

Everyone wants their wedding day to be perfect and to have an unforgettable experience; one that you can look back on with joy for years to come.  And now that almost every single person carries a camera, your event has better to be truly impressive.

Well, there are certain things you’re going to need to get bang on to make sure your day works out perfectly.  There is going to be a whole lot of work and stress, but if you will systematically address all the important areas, and get them right, you should have no problems or issues on the day. Follow these tips and hints to help you enjoy a wedding that will be remembered for years.

Choose the Dress

Perhaps the single most important item of the wedding is the dress (or dresses).  You’re going to have to think about the sort of dress you want and the number of changes. While considering the different colours, designs and styles bear in mind to pick the sort of dress best suits you. The most important thing is that you are happy with the visual appearance and you need to feel great when you’re wearing them.

Pick the Wedding Party

As important as sorting out the clothes, you will need to take the time to choose your wedding party; picking the people you want to be involved in your wedding. You’ll need to collectively choose a maid of honour, bridesmaids and perhaps also a brides man. These people are all going to play huge roles in the wedding and the preparation. So you’re going to have to make sensible choices, selecting only close friends and should be on good terms with you.

Food & Beverage

Once you’ve done these things you need to turn your attention to food and beverage. How many guests would be attending and does anyone attending have any nutritional requirements? What will the vegetarian option be?  Work out a budget that includes beverage options. How much do you have to spend? These are all pertinent questions you need to ask yourself when sorting out the food for the wedding.

Venue

Choosing a venue for the wedding need not be stressful. There may well be a venue you’ve had in mind for a while, just remember to secure the date with a deposit, and make doubly sure the venue has to allow for everything you want out of your wedding. Always have a backup venue, or two, in case you run into problems when the date draws closer.

Master of Ceremonies

A Master of Ceremonies (M.C.) is an important person for tying everything together so the day or night runs smoothly. Using someone with a great sense of humour and the ability to speak confidently and can keep things moving along with a humorous comment where appropriate is impressive.  Having someone known to you and your guests sets the scene for a very personal reception.

Speeches

Speeches play a big role in the makeup of any wedding, and as the bride and groom, you would want to make speeches of some description, along with vows. The best man and father of the bride will traditionally make a speech as well. So, make sure you spend some time getting the speeches right so they make the day more memorable.

Table Plans

Right, now we’re getting into the nitty gritty of the day here. It might seem a bit mundane, but I can’t stress enough how important table plans are. You need to make decisions about where you’re going to position the tables, what they will be named, and who will be sitting where. There might be people you need to separate for various reasons. So it’s best to make sure these people are on separate tables.

The Cake

The tradition of cutting the cake as a couple is in fact a ritual they partake to endorse their commitment to each other. The groom places his hand over the bride’s in a way to guide her as she slices the first piece. The couple will then cut through the bottom layer together to symbolize sharing and the continuity of their relationship.  Usually, no one eats the cake, so you really don’t have to be too overly concerned about flavour, but focus more on impression.

Sort Out Music

You need to think about the entertainment side of the wedding, and that means the music. It’s essential to have music to accompany you because it plays an enormous role in the whole day; it’s important to have the best fitting music for the different areas of the wedding. Decide whether you want to have a band or a DJ, or both. Think about what song you want for the first dance and walking down the aisle. Music can make or break a wedding so be sure to get yours spot on.

Celebrations

It’s important to make sure to help people get the most out of their experience at your wedding. Putting on a show and allowing people to actively share the day with you is part of what a magnificent wedding is all about.  Celebration is an important element to the day and will help people to become a little bit more involved.

First Dance

There are a lot of important elements that make up the ideal wedding experience. This is your first dance together as a married couple so it needs to be special. Choose a song that has significant meaning to you. You should try to get some practice beforehand to brush up on your moves.

Flowers

“No wedding experience would be complete without the right flowers,” says Ms. Sok Phananida of Dadana Floral Boutique. Make sure you have thoroughly planned and researched the flowers you want for your day. Get in touch with a professional wedding designer and let them help you.  The flowers need to complement your colour scheme and add vibrancy to your day. This is a big decision to make, and one that will have a huge bearing on how your wedding turns out.

Door Gift

Your wedding is your special day, so you may need to make sure you leave strong impression of the occasion. You will want to offer a gift that your guests will not easily forget, but will remember for years to come.

Photography

There’s nothing like waking up every morning and being reminded of the best day of your life.

We all prioritize what we want to invest in on our wedding day. For some, the venue is priority. For others it might be the flowers, food, or cake. Brides and grooms spend so much time and money on the details of their wedding they should have it all photographed in a beautiful and artful way. A professional photographer who knows how to capture the emotions and meaningful moments that can pass by in an instant is absolutely important. Whatever your priority is, investing in a photographer should be at the top of your list. Besides love, it is the one thing that will last a lifetime.  Make doubly sure you engage a professional.

Choose the Honeymoon

The point of the honeymoon is to enjoy your first steps into married life together. It also gives you a well-earned break from the stress of planning the wedding. Choosing your honeymoon is a great way to add the cherry on top of the cake and will make this experience unforgettable.
